LEARN HOW WE

Purify even the cleanest water on the market

Local water supplies are treated to reduce the presence of contaminants, such as bacteria, lead, mercury and pollutants. … The purification process helps remove contaminants that might have entered your drinking water.

Our process includes a seven step process using the best state of the art equipment to clean the water that comes our of your tap. Yes, we clean the same water that you receive from the water department.

When you try our water you will immediately know the difference. Visit our Cape Coral or Lehigh Acres location and try the best and cleanest water you will ever drink. Come in today!

Highly Activated Carbon

Chlorine and chlorimine removal. Carbon pores have been enlarged through a process that allows better absorption.

The filtration technique for chloramine is expensive versus to filtration of the chlorine. To remove chloramine, you need to have an extensive carbon filter. This will remove the chlorine included in the chloramine molecule. Then, you must perform a reverse osmosis technique or a cation filter.

Water Softening

Hardness in the water (calcium, iron, magnesium, and manganese) is exchanged for sodium to increase the efficiency of the reverse osmosis membrane in the next stage.

Water softening is the removal of calcium, magnesium, and certain other metal cations in hard water. The resulting soft water requires less soap for the same cleaning effort, as soap is not wasted bonding with calcium ions. Soft water also extends the lifetime of plumbing by reducing or eliminating scale build-up in pipes and fittings. Water softening is usually achieved using lime softening or ion-exchange resins but is increasingly being accomplished using nanofiltration or reverse osmosis membranes.

Reverse Osmosis

Water is forced under pressure through a membrane. This is a purification process that strips any dissolved or undissolved contaminates including heavy metals, viruses, bacteria, and cysts.

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a water treatment process that removes contaminants from water by using pressure to force water molecules through a semipermeable membrane. During this process, the contaminants are filtered out and flushed away, leaving clean, delicious drinking water.

Granular Activated Carbon

Serves as a final polish to the water. This stage is for taste. PH correction is also achieved here.

Granular Activated Carbon. Activated carbon is commonly used to adsorb natural organic compounds, taste and odor compounds, and synthetic organic chemicals in drinking water treatment. Adsorption is both the physical and chemical process of accumulating a substance at the interface between liquid and solids phases.

5 Micron Sediment Filter

Polishing filter to remove any carbon finds before next stage.

A nominal 5 micron filter is one that traps 85 percent of the particles of five microns and larger. An absolute 5 micron filter is one that traps 99.9 percent of the particles of 5 microns and larger.

UV Sterilization/Disinfection

Water is exposed to UV rays as a final safety measure to ensure healthy water quality.

Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.
